Neo-Victoriana

I have a very great liking for steampunk, but then truthfully… not quite all of it. My preference is for the Neo-Victorian side of things – the “soft steam”, as it were: corsets, Victorian boots, brass & leather accoutrements, bustles, etc. And naturally I like the goggles! But some steampunk is a little too harsh for me (no gas masks, thanks, nor zombies, nor ray guns). This is, of course, just a personal preference.

Movie-wise, my leanings are the same. I generally prefer the films with a “hint of steam”, so to speak, rather than those that are more extreme or industrial in aesthetic – and the same goes for the costumes.

So for today, some Neo-Victorian and/or steampunk-tinted movie wear (+ miscellaneous bits of steamy scenery and so forth)….
